What Causes A Longstanding Greenish Tinge In Small Toe?

I have this funky green color in my pinky toe,, not on top of, in between my pinky toe. I first noticed at Easter thinking a cracked green egg landed in my shoe (in between my toe) and turned my toe this color, but i noticed this color has not gone away. I am not diabetic, I did have athletes foot a few months back and was treated with prescribed medication, however, I have had no other problems, no pain, no fever, no symptoms whatso ever, the athtelets foot has gone away. It looks almost like mold.. I am planning to visit my physician cause i think this is very strange. It looks like someone got a light green marker and colored in my pinky toe.. not completely green, just traces of it..
