What Causes A Loud Pop In The Knee Followed By A Burning Sensation?

I was climbing the stairs, not a run but not a walk either, I tripped on the top stair and my right knee made a loud POP. A burning feeling on the inside of my knee is 9 out of 10 on the pain scale. Range of motion limits me from fully straightening it or bending it more than 45 degrees. i have had two miniscus surgeries over the past seven years. That pain was on the top outside of the knee. What is your first thought? Thank you for your time.

Hello,

Sorry to know that and your concern. Please go for a MRI knee to look for any ligament tear or tendon rupture. This can be grievous. Take tab. Naproxen whenever u have pain. Limiting mobility can be a bad sign so please see a orthopedic surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
