What Causes A Lump And Burning Sensation Around A Pacemaker Insertion Site?
I had a pacemaker put in Feb 2016. A few weeks ago I noticed I have a knot sticking up where the pacer is. About this same time I have developed a stinging burning sensation. This all started right after I took a fall from a step stool at which time I busted my forehead open requiring 8 stitches and a concussion. Could I possibly have done something to pacemaker when I fell?

Hi,
Yes, you must have displaced the pacemaker. Just undergo chest X-ray to know about the exact position of the pacemaker.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
