What Causes A Lump And Numb Feeling In The Shin Area Caused By An Injury?

I was kicked in the shin around a month ago in an altercation. At first the area bruised, but since then the bruise has gone. The area is still numb and I can feel a hard lump under the skin. Otherwise the rest of my leg has no numbness but should I be concerned about the lump and numbness in the area of impact? How long will this take to heal and will I regain sensation? Thank you

The lump with numb feeling after an injury suggests hematoma formation
with neurological issues via possible nerve compression. Immediate attention to your primary care provider is mandatory.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
