General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I advise you to get an X-ray done to rule out any fracture. The bump may be due to collection of blood or growing healing tissue. If the X-ray comes out normal then I would ask you to wait for the injured area to heal and get back to normal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
