Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Swelling after an injury is common. It usually subsides with time. Try to apply some heat. A mild pain will be their for few weeks. But keep observing for any changes. Sometimes it is possible that a mild fracture of the bone may present. If the lump/swelling is not reducing then please consult a doctor.

Hope this helps.

If you have any other queries I'll be happy to help.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
