What Causes A Lump In The Neck Above The Clavicle?

I have a lump in the left side of my neck right above the clavicle since 2010. Doctor said I need to do CT scan, in the CT scan physician said my lump is just hypertrophied muscle, I still have that lump and wondering if CT scan doctor was wrong. I have dull pain in that area

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have hypertrophied muscle or some enlarged lymphnode or some soft tissue tumor. You should go for biopsy of that lump. It will give exact idea of your lesion. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
