What Causes A Lump In The Vein After IV?

I had a hysterectomy on Saturday and was released from the hospital on Monday. My question is I have an approximate quarter sized knot on my wrist where they removed the iv. Should I be concerned or does my anxiety have me super scared for no reason? Thank you.
