General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The lump in the xiphoid is hematoma formation following trauma.

Though primary relief with ice, it is recommended to consult your doc for the prescription of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs which are of immense importance to get it resolved and prevent secondary bacterial infection in it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
