What Causes A Lump Of A Golf Ball Size In The Xiphoid?
I fell on some ice and landed on my right side a d knocked the wind out of me. Started to notice a golf ball since lump wjere my xipohid joint is. I went and had xray done and they didn t see any thing I ordere a cat scan because I also have a lump on my leftbcolar bone and was told both of those spots where dislocated and then told they are nothing but he noticed a small fracture on my rib just below my collar bone. What could be the other possibilities it may be. Its hard and feels like its attached to my sternum doesn t move but hurts Some times that I cry. It hurts t bend over an takes my breath away.
The lump in the xiphoid is hematoma formation following trauma.
Though primary relief with ice, it is recommended to consult your doc for the prescription of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs which are of immense importance to get it resolved and prevent secondary bacterial infection in it.
