What Causes A Lump On Left Buttocks?

Hi, i have a weird feeling in my left butt cheek. it feels like theres a lump there when i sit down or stand up. i have tried to feel to see if there is one there and it does feel a little bit different to the other side. what could this be? I m a bit worried

Hi.

An abscess is commonly found in the gluteal region and this usually results in symptoms like warmth over the region, pain, redness, at times even a fever. So this could even be a cyst which presents with none of these symptoms and so I recommend a visit to your doctor for an evaluation to find the cause and relieve you of the presentation.
