What Causes A Lump On My Clavicle?

I found a lump on clavicle on the right side where it meets the sternum. The lump isnt painful but had bad neck shoulder pain the week before. The Dr. has me on anti-inflammatories for a few days to see if that helps. I do a strenous weight training workout twice a week and I had vigorously shoveled snow before I found the lump. Any insight?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have enlarged supraclavicular lymphnode. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis, lymphoma or metastatic carcinoma. Or you may have some soft tissue tumour or mediastinal tumour. You should go for X ray chest first. If needed go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
