What Causes A Lump On The Forehead Post Injury To The Back Of The Head?

I fell really hard today on ice and hit the back of my head to the point it jolted. My head hurts, my eyes and the front of my forehead has a knot even though it was the back of my head that took the blow. How long should I stay awake this happened around 4:00pm.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Patient,

since you fell so hard i recommend being safe and having a doctor look at you in the ER to rule out any serious internal injuries or brain bleedings like so called subdural haematoma. Signs of that can be naseaousness, dizzyness and becoming tired or sleepy. If any of that occurs you should definately go t an ER immediately, if not i still recommed it to make sure. Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
