What Causes A Lump On The Head Along With Headaches?

I hit the left side of the top of my head on an open cupboard door. At first, it didn t bother me. But, now, I have this big bump and headaches. Some numbness in the area of the bump. My face is all black and blue, as I take Warfarin and Plavix. Saw my Opthalmologist yesterday and he said my eyes were fine. No blood, etc. Is this serious. Have an appt. with my pcp on Wed.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lump on the head along with headaches . You have infected scalp follicle with boil formation , which is felt lately by you -as it has grown over the head-scalp on top right edge. The symptoms can also occur due to condition like osteoma or other condition . I would suggest you to consult general surgeon for proper examination , Doctor may check physically to check consistency and tenderness . Doctor may also take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory or surgical removal .
