Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Lump in the kidney can be due to cyst, benign tumor or malignant tumor.
Whether the lump is cystic or solid can be determined by imaging studies.
The blood creatinine level is within normal range thus showing that the lump is not causing deterioration of renal functions.
Whether the lump is cystic or solid, surgical excision is the treatment of choice.
Histopathological examination of the excised lump is required to know exact nature and character of the lesion.
I suggest you to consult your nephrologist for clinical assessment and thus management of the kidney lump.

Thanks and take care
