I have what feels like a lump in my throat somewhere near my windpipe, it seems to swell up every few minutes and then subside, it started approx 8 weeks ago, my doctor prescribed antibiotics a week ago but my throat is now getting much worse, it is now effecting my breathing, I am seeing my doctor tomorrow but am consrened that maybe I should go to emergency hospital tonight
If you are having trouble in breathing , then it is advisable to go to the hospital now itself ,otherwise you can wait till tomorrow morning . There can be many reasons for the feeling of lump including a mass or swelling , you will need an endoscopic evaluation of your wind pipe. for the time being you can start steam inhalation 2-3 times a day , it will give some relief.
Thanks
