So have a noble on my right lung. They took a biopsy of it and says its just scar tissue. So why when they did first x ray it showed up as fluid on the lung and in cat scan before biopsy it showed as a broil then had biopsy and when they took samples my right lung felt like it filled full of fluid and i was drowning. To turn out in my biopsy as scar tissue? Also my right chest pain is a 6 all the time with spikes up to 10 on the pain scale and yet i told i am fine
We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it is good news that biopsy didn't show any signs of malignant lesion, as nodules in such location needs prompt evaluation, and line of management was up to the right track however pain can't be ignored as despite the nodule being benign, can cause compression symptoms.
OTC analgesic like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used. For severe pain more potent analgesics like Tramadol may be needed. Serial CT scan at least every six months is recommended for an year or two to rule out any signs of spread.Certain genetic factors as well as environmental or occupational may cause such nodules.
Hope I have answered your query.
