What Causes A Macular Hole In The Eyes?

Hello I AM TYPE 1 DIABETES FOR 23 YEARS i am 59 years old.I test every six month my eyes for eye problem.The last time eye Doctor told me your retina is quite safe but one month after my vision left eye ssaw wavy line and I was diagnosted macula hole and went under surgery .Here are my question.: 1-before macula hole I USED TOLTRODINE 2 FOR URINE PROBLEM COULD IT CAUSE MACULA HOLE? 2-aFTER SURGERY OF MACULA BY VITRECTOMY HOLE MY VISION GOT BETTER BUT I STILL SEE WAVY LINE BUT IT IS NOT WORSENING ? Hi,

If macula is effected visual loss will be permanent. It is diabetic retinopathy with micro aneurysm and hemorrhage. Photo coagulation is only way to coagulate bleeding points.

it means you are insulin dependent and diabetic retinopathy is obvious all problem related to it may develop. only thing is to maintain blood sugar with insulin and diet control. to be physically active. take regular morning walk
