What Causes A Mark Like Fingernail Tip Under The Ring Of Eyeball?

I have a small thin area that may resemble something like the tip of a fingernail wrapping around the bottom part of the ring of my eyeball (very small area - maybe the size of one of these brackets embracing this statement or smaller). I just noticed it for the first time tonight? Not sure what it is? I've never seen it on my eyeball base before? It definately concerns me? Can you help?

what you have informed is not very clear. the Marc is like Ly over conjunctiva. you have not informed other symptoms like itching, pain, redness, status of vision. with this it can be presumed that it is asympto metic. So it can be kept under obs er vation, no treatment for time being.
