What Causes A Missed Period Despite Taking Regestrone?

I had my d&c may 16 later I did not get my periods I tested two pregnancy test and it came negative the last test I did was on Jul 13 and I took dyregestrone tablets 10mg for 5 days twice in a day ..it s been two days I m done with the tablets wen am I expected to have my periods ? What if I don t get my periods
