Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
First of all do not panic.
If you are prescribed tablets
Regestrone to regulate the periods then you can take them for ten days from day 16 to 25 of the cycle. Withdrawal bleeding usually occurs within 3 to 7 days after stopping the tablets. Do not consume tablets continuously for 2 months or so. As on now, I will suggest you to stop the tablet and wait for the withdrawal bleeding.
Please get your USG abdomen and pelvis done, to rule out
polycystic ovaries. Also get postmenopausal HSG- hystrrosalpingography done to know about the patency of the Fallopian tubes. Also, get your partner's
semen analysis done to know about the quality and quantity of the sperms.
If these 3 reports are normal, then try to have unprotected sexual activity between day 10 to 20 of the cycle. In women with regular cycle this is the most fertile period of the cycle.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
