What Causes A Missed Period Despite Tubal Ligation And Negative Pregnancy Tests?

Hello, I'm just wondering if I have anything to be concerned about. 4 years ago I had a tubal ligation after the birth of our 3rd child. Until recently, my periods have been pretty normal. But now I'm 6 weeks late and have taken 2 home pregnancy tests which both say negative. Should I just keep waiting?
