What Causes A Missed Period Post Depo Shot Withdrawal?

Hi, I was on the depo provera for 12 weeks and about 19 days ago I come off it. I still have not had a period and was wondering if it is normal. I took a pregnancy test about 1 and half weeks ago and it come back negative but this is around the 6th week I have not had a monthly cycle now. Can you give me any advice. Thank you

Hello,
Not getting menses is common side effect of Depoprovera shot. wait for 1-2 months more to get menses naturally, making sure you are not pregnant. If then also you don't get menses then take cap Susten SR 300 at bed time for 10 days you will get menses within 2-5 days after completion of treatment.
hope this helps.
