What Causes A Missed Period Post Postinor Intake?
I took postinor 1 two days before my period after having unprotected sex. Prior to this I had tender breasts and pre menstrual pain. It s been six days and I am yet to see my period still and my breasts are no longer tender. I have menstrual pains that come and go but there s no period. Will it eventually come? Or should I induce it with Vitamin C?

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic.
As you have taken postinor tablet just 2 days before your expected date of menses, the delay in getting period can be due to hormonal contents of the pill.
Please note that, in a woman with regular cycle day 10 to 20 of the cycle is the most fertile period of the cycle. If you have unprotected sex activity in this period then you stand chance to get pregnant and it is in this period you should take emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours of unprotected sex activity.
This helps to prevent pregnancy and further need of abortion.
In your case you were already out of fertile period and there was no need to take emergency contraceptive pill.
Anyway I will suggest you to wait for the onset of menses.
Please get proper sex counseling done for future to know about safe and protected sex. This will help to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
