What Causes A Missed Period With Negative HPT?

I am 24 and married. My periods are pretty regular its once in 30 days but now i have missed my periods and its 50 days now I did a home pregnancy test . The result was negative and also did a lab urine test the result was negative . Yet to meet a gynecologist. Is there any possibilities of me being pregnant ? we are trying for a baby.
