What Causes A Missed Period With Stomach Cramps?

hello Dr Nirja my name is Anita i missed my preiod and i am worried that i might be pregnant. i was having cramps the whole weekend but did not go to periods i take trigestrel oral contraceptions and i take them every day bt sometimes i do not take them the same i usually do bt i make sure i take them every day. plz advise
