What Causes A Mobile Lump On The Head?

A couple of weeks ago I noticed I have a lump to the bottom of my right side head, it hurt when I touched it but I just thought it would go away. Eventually it went away until I realized 2 days ago like it almost moved. There was a lump to the middle of my right side head. I would just like to know what that means because I think I might be over reacting since I read an article about some type of cancer that describes the lump on my head. It hurts when I put pressure or brush my hair or lay down to go to sleep
