What Causes A Numb Patch Of Skin On The Back?

Hello quite a few years ago I noticed a numb patch of skin in the middle of my back and now I have it on the right side of my face from the middle of my chin below my lips to about half way towards my ear lobe and it’s freaking me out !!!! Any clues as to what it could be ???

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Trauma can be the reason, but we should rule out leprosy as it causes damage to nerves which presents like this. Do you have any other symptom with it??
