What Causes A Painful Acne On The Chest?

Hi, had a raised bump on my chest, kind of like a pimple, squeezed it and white stuff came out and had a bad odor,was really small after that, next day, skin is now discolored at the site very painful all over chest,neck and arm there is a area around it that is raised

Hi..

It can be a hair follicle infection that is a bacterial infection of the hair follicle that can cause pus formation along with inflammation and induration around the area..

It can also lead to an abscess formation leading to pus formation..

So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated and if needed Incision and Drainage can be done to drain off pus and along with it a course of antibiotics can be advised along with topical application of antibiotic ointment..

Also keep the area clean and to reduce pain take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
