What Causes A Painful Cyst On The Breast With A Prominent Vein?

Hi , I am 26 yr old female..I am facing severe breast pain in right breast and it has slightly increased in size...pain is ONLY on the right side.. I have got two ultrasounds done and there are fluid filled cyst below the nipple and other quadrants ..and both radiologist confirmed benign cyst.. A blue vein has appeared on the right breast towards the nipple. I have been prescribed primosa 500 and ecod plus but no relief..I am extremely worried and want to get an MRI done... Please suggest..I am afraid that mu syptoms are nt taken seriously due to my age

Hello,

The cystic lesion in young aged female could be commonly due to fibrocystic disease of breast.

There might be associated inflammation as well causing pain in breast.

The cyst cannot be resolved by medication.

I suggest you undergone operation for cytsic lesion removal and send it for histopathology examination to reach right diagnosis.
You can revert back with histopathology report once done.
