Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

Post hernia surgery, fibrosis is very common. And fibrosis can cause painful lump. No treatment is needed for this. Apply ice packs, take a simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen. Don't worry, you will be alright.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Kaushal Bhavsar, Pulmonologist
