What Causes A Painful Knot And Bruise Above Hip?

My lower back has been hurting for sometime now but this morning when I woke up have a tender spot on left hip couple inch from top of butt crack. I can actually feel the lump feels like a bad bruise. Now when I lift anything the pain worsens like I said its a little left of my tailbone .

I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to some lesion and it may be inflammatory process going on there here the chances of infection need to be ruled out, it may be due to injury also, "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day can be tried, if this does not comes around then clinical examination is must, hope this information helps, take care.
