Hi , I have a lump on the side of my head which is painful and brings on serve headaches I have a blocked nose due to a cold , I keep getting pain in the left side of my chest and on my back on the same side and for a few days I have been struggling to breath

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If the lump hurts you visit ER & get examined, it can be a bony growth that needs medication or surgery. For headache take Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Since you have blocked nose & cold, get X-Ray PNS done to rule out sinusitis. Sometimes, chronic undetected, neglected sinusitis can get complicated because of infections entering into the brain tissues resulting in abscess or inflammation of the intracranial blood vessels.
Take anti-histamines, Doxycyline, steam inhalation and Tylenol for relieve after physical examination. Get treated, get well.
