What Causes A Painful Lump Near The Testicle?

My husband & I recently discovered a small lump on his right testicle. He says its been hurting for quite sometime. We think it could be a lipoma, however, we arent sure whether its on the testicle or just on the scrotum. How can we tell & what should we do?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He should go for examination. Because if lump is on scrotum then it could be sebaceous cyst. If it is on testis then it could be abscess,tuberculosis, lymphoma or germ cell tumour. So first of all you should go for examination. If needed go for ultrasound study. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
