What Causes A Painful Lump On The Foot?

I have a lump on the side of my foot and for the longest time it did not hurt until the last month. I get sharp pains sometimes to painful to bear but on the normal day I am usually left with mild constant pain. It doesn t effect my walking. The lump is on the outside and hurts when I press on it. I have learned to deal with it but now it has become a little annoying.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this could be lipoma or lymph node and chances of infection need to be ruled out, till then analgesic can be tried for pain and clinical examination is advisable, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
