What Causes A Painful Lumpy Feeling In The Throat And Swallowing Difficulty?

Hi my name is Anita Boardman I m a childcare provider so I get all kinds of illnesses but I have this problem I feel like there is a lump of food stuck in the left hand side of my throat but also have earache on same side I have looked in my mouth to see if anything there but nothing. it is very sore to swallow even to drink I m taking paracetamol an strepsols.can u please help
