What Causes A Painful Mole Inside The Nostril?

I have a mole in the inside of my right nostril for the past few months. Yesterday it was huge and today it is almost flat. It scabs up sometimes. Sometimes it hurts and feels like a pimple and over the past few weeks I thought it was gone but it came back yesterday. What can it be and how can I get rid of it? Thanks for your help.

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have painful mole inside the nostril . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cyst inside nose, nasal polyp or benign growth inside the nose . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order nasal endoscopy and physical examination along with sample for lab tests . Doctor mat surgically remove the mole or any other growth . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory and nasal spray . Take steam twice a day daily as it will be very helpful. Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain.
