What Causes A Painful White Hard Lump On Arm?

I ve developed a dark purple bruise on the inside of my arm next to my elbow joint. It has a white center with a hard knot and it s painful to the touch. I do not recall any injury...it just showed up one day. A little over a week ago and the color has not changed. Thank you

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related bursitis which is an inflammation of the elbow joint. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application. I recommend using an antibiotic cream for local application such as Neosporin cream.
