What Causes A Painless Lump On The Knuckle?

I have a lump on my knuckle caused by breaking a branch. I had a sliver which I removed when it happened. Could there have been another sliver that stayed in there? This happen a year ago. I have no pain with the lump and can move it around with no painful feeling. Is there fluid there and what should I so about it?

Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic
Regarding your experience with a lump at your knuckle with no painful episode following removal of a silver material I am suggesting you have developed a Myopathy

In view of this please see a surgeon specialist for expert clinical assessment and possible surgical interventional procedures

I doubt if there is a silver material in it but to be sure do a hand x-ray to confirm it

I hope this helps Regards
