What Causes A Painless Soft Bump On The Forehead?
13 yr old son just noticed and announced soft tissue bump on forehead. Says he didn t bump his head. It is spongy feeling, and not tender to the touch. Not hard as if caused by a bump. It is maybe 2mm thick and about the size of a quarter over the left eyebrow. What are some possible causes?

I think it can be lipoma or a fatty lump under the skin and over the muscles. They are not dangerous and not cancerous. You can send me a photo of it in order to get a better opinion. Surgery may be the only treatment for it.
