General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have a painless lump above the clitoris hood. You had cut yourself during shaving. You are suggested to change your shaving process to prevent ingrown hairs. You should change your razor frequently, always shave in the direction of the growth of your pubic hairs to avoid cuts.

Use unscented soaps during shaving to avoid reaction due to allergy. Shaving once weekly is enough, do not be too frequent. Take care of your hygiene, vaginal lumps may be indicative of Bartholin's cysts, abscess, sexually transmitted diseases, ingrown hairs, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynae, abscess and Bartholin's cyst may need to be drained and antiseptic dressing done. You may need a course of antibiotics for better healing and to avoid infection.

Bacteria and viruses can easily spread if you touch or pop your bumps. Do not touch, scratch or pop. Get clinically tested for sexually transmitted disease, if positive you will be treated accordingly with antibiotics / antivirals. Avoid sexual activity or self pleasure for a couple of days. Give time to it for healing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Pathologist and Microbiologist Dr. Shailja Puri's  Response
Hello,

History of skin cancer and appearance of mole inside the vagina could be due to cancer recurrence. I suggest you to consult your treating oncologist / dermatologist for clinical assessment and biopsy of the lesion to rule out malignancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
