What Causes A Pea Sized Lump At The Base Of The Penis?

I have a pea size lump by the vien at the base of my penis on the top and it s very painful when my penis is flaced and hanging down. Also when I get an erection. I m embarresed to go to the doctors. It s been 3 days it s easing but still painful to touch.

Sorry to hear you have a lump at the base of your penis. The lump could be caused by:

- Local skin irritation
- Local infection by a bacterium or fungus
- STI
