OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. There are several causes for post coital bleeding to mention a few- 1. rough intercourse, 2. infections of the vagina and the cervix, 3. polyps of the cervix and endometrium, 4. erosion of the cervix, 5. cysts of the ovary etc. A local examination, a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route, swabs from the cervix and vagina and a pap smear along with urinalysis are needed to detect the cause and plan further management. Hope this helps.
