What Causes A Prolonged Fever With All Test Results Negative?

my mother 76, was suffering from fever for more than 1 month severel inestigations on blood ,xray,urine,usg brought no findings but omnacortil10 one tab twice daily gave miraculas result,no antibiotic responded.how does it occured ,will she continue it?

Its unlikely to have such report.Check once again for missing report like ESR or so on.And taking steroid might reduce the temprature for short period.Steroid is not indicated for long term.So get evaluated with physician.Regards,Dr Mahesh
