Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey doc, today I cut off a keloid/cyst that developed IN my earlobe. I did some research and found the rubber-band trick. You get a rubber band or string and tie it around the keloid. I did that, and it turned black. I cut it off this morning, everything looks fine, except right above where i cut it at its still purple, the skin above it didnt get enough circulation.. Its not black, which I assume it means it isnt dead. What do I do to get the blood flowing again? I feel only a little bit when i touch it with my finger. Do I massage it? Also, will my skin heal alright?
Hi, You need not worry a lot , because the purple colored skin is the necrosed or dead skin which ll eventually fall off and new skin ll cover it up subsequently. If it does not, you can visit a cosmetologist
