Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a purplish bump on the side of my big toe. I tried to drain it and it has gel like substance not watery. It feels like something is in it, painful, and the size of a dime. I have never had a corn or bunion, but I do get pedicures at a shop? What is it?
If your bump is painful than it can be due to superficial bacterial infection.
For that, you need to drain that lesion and apply topical Neosporin over that. However, I suggest you upload a photo of the lesion to guide you further.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
