What Causes A Rash After Drinking Alcohol?

Hi. I have recently been having some kind of reaction when I drink beer and rye. I am 36 years old and have never had a problem until now. When I drink beer, and some rye, I slowly begin to develop a flaring rash around my eyes. As it happens I can feel it slowly burning, until it is very noticeable. Is this a reaction to wheat or barley? Is it a reaction to alcohol? thanks

yeah, this is really common. This is a blush reaction. It is a reaction mainly to the alcohol but you might find that some drinks (red wine typically) are the very worst and others are a bit less.

ROSACEA begins like this.
