What Causes A Rash On The Arm Along With Headaches And Diarrhea?

I have Lupus, RA and vasculitis; I have had diarrhea and head aches for 4 days, lethargy and today I woke up with lower back pain and now am developing a rash on my arms. The rash looks like prickly heat, but I have not been in the heat, and have not been hot - it is not from the heat, that is just the appearance of the rash.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a viral rash. I suggest using an over the counter option to treat diarrhea such a Imodium. I also suggest using daily probiotics. I recommend using Calamine lotion for local application to the rash area.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
