What Causes A Rash On The Knee While On Losartan?

I have been on losartan for a couple years now with no side effects. About a week ago I got a refill on my perscription. A few days later I developed a rash on the back of my knee. Now it has spread to the front of my knee and is also developing on my other leg. Could it be my losartin?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction due to losartan. I suggest using antihistamines daily such as Levocetirizine. I also suggest consulting your doctor about an alternative medication.
