What Causes A Rash On The Rib Cage?

I have had a persistent rash on either side of my rib cage above abdomen for over 2 years. I have been feeling tired for many years and recently have had a increase in loose uncontrollable stools. I am in my with week of abstaining from products with known gluten and dairy products to see if I notice a difference. I have increased stamina but twice within the last week had violent diaharia which I contribute to eating sour dough bread made with a well established starter dough. I have not been seen nor tested for any food allergies. Should I continue to abstain from gluten and continue to keep a food diary? My mother, sister and sisters daughter has tested positive for celiac so.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The chronic diarrhea is strongly related to underlying gut flora disturbances through IBS, Crohn's disease or others.

The persistent rash on rib cage also co relates with the underlying immune compromised stage via inflammatory process.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
