What Causes A Recurrent Large Red And White Spot On The Left Hand?
Noticed about eight weeks a spot on my left hand with about I/2 inch area in red with a small white waxy center which itches and burns. Went to doc s pa said it was a keratosis and froze off - three weeks later it is back, only larger in the white area. Doc cannot see until April but PA is will s see me in two days. Needles to say I am concerned as I had Mohs less than a year ago on my leg which was a squamous cell carcinoma. Any guidance you could give me would be much appreciated.
As per your case history, you are suffering from Eczema rash.
My treatment advice is: 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
